Tossa de Mar has three beaches which are, however, only for children who can swim. The Gran Hotel Rey Mar is close to the beach Platja de la Mar Menuda, the Hotel Delfín five minutes from the largest beach Platja Gran, the hotel Vila de Tossa, on the other end of the same street, requires nine minutes to reach de Playa Grande (castilian name for Platja Gran) and the hotel Oasis Tossa is situated in the calm zone of Tossa de Mar but requires 15 minutes to reach the large beach.
